Welcome Back!
Wow, I can’t believe how fast summer flew by! I hope this note finds all of you well rested and ready to start the greatest year. First grade is the most exciting year for many students, with many “firsts.” First loose tooth, first favorite book, first time being able to participate in the Price Reading challenge… I am looking forward to experiencing some of those memories together!
Let me take a second to introduce myself. My name is Melissa Auger and this is my second year a Pleasantville. I have a dog named Riley that you will hear many stories about and I also have a magic wond ( you will have to wait until the first day of school to find out more about that)! I love first grade and enjoy witnessing the many changes that occur during this magical year. We will definatley have a lot of fun this year studying phonic elements in shaving cream, salt, play dough, and offcourse fingerpaint! I look forward to getting to know you and your child throughout the academic year.
